Biosketch

I was born in Zakynthos in 1996. I received my diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Thessaly. My diploma thesis, supervised by Associate Professor Gerasimos Potamianos, focused on audiovisual speaker diarization in broadcast news using machine learning methods.

I later earned a Master’s degree in Data Science and Information Technologies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. My MSc thesis, supervised by Research Directors Vassilis Gatos and Stavros Perantonis at NCSR Demokritos, addressed handwritten optical character recognition.

Since October 2024, I am a PhD student in the CVSP Group at the School of ECE, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), under the supervision of Professor Petros Maragos. My research focuses on audio-visual interaction between humans and robots using multimodal learning. My interests include computer vision, deep learning, human-robot interaction, and speech processing.
