I was born in Athens in 2001. I received my Master of Engineering degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. My diploma thesis, supervised by Professor Petros Maragos, focused on decision-making in stochastic environments using diffusion models.
I am a PhD student in the School of ECE at the National Technical University of Athens under the supervision of Professor Petros Maragos. My doctoral research focuses on developmental and multi-modal artificial intelligence, and specifically how robotic agents can develop predictive visual self- and world-models through intrinsic motivation. I am currently a PhD Research Fellow at the Hellenic Robotics Center of Excellence and Athena Research Center. My research interests include machine learning, reinforcement learning, intelligent robotics, curiosity-driven learning, and generative models.
